Introducing Climate Change and Sustainability in Housing.

22% of the UK’s emissions come from housing, so it’s crucial that housing associations are ambitious in their plans to create clean, green, efficient homes and progress towards to the government’s target of net zero carbon by 2050. Housing associations must lead the decarbonisation agenda and drive investment in green projects and infrastructure to deliver sustainable homes, creating new jobs, supporting growth and tackling fuel poverty.

At Climate Change and Sustainability in Housing, delegates will:

  • Understand the scale of the decarbonisation in housing from a policy, funding, financial and customer perspective.
  • Hear more on the government’s strategy, targets and regulations and identify the financial mechanisms available to support housing associations.
  • Get to grips with the Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) standard and examine how it will affect their organisation as we move towards a low carbon economy.
  • Collaborate with peers across the sector and beyond to learn what technology is needed to decarbonise at pace, drive forward work on retrofitting and cut carbon emissions.
  • Learn more about how climate change may affect their homes and residents’ lives.

Network with over 150 delegates to build brand awareness and generate sales leads.

What is an #NHFVirtual event?

We’ve launched #NHFVirtual in response to the coronavirus pandemic. Just like the sector-leading NHF conferences that our delegates know and value, these virtual events offer live speakers, rooms for interactive debate and coffee breaks to catch-up with colleagues – but streamed live to their browser.

Here’s what delegates have had to say about #NHFVirtual

"I could not fault this conference, in fact I think it was better than when I attended in person. I loved the mix of live and pre-recorded content. Best conference I've attended in a long while!"
